7 Strategies for a Successful Wedding Dance

Arts in Motion offers private individualized
instruction in Ballroom Dance for couples. Lessons can be tailored to fit your needs. We specialize in preparing couples for their wedding dance. Single lessons or packages are available.

About our teachers: Scott A. Read received bronze level ballroom dance training at Arthur Murray's and has been teaching Ballroom Dance in the Ann Arbor area for almost 30 years. He has taken the Arthur Murray style and adapted it to fit his own teaching methods. Scott emphasizes the importance of the basic steps of each dance with a focus on the aspect of communication. Dancing is the most romantic form of communication there is and Scott focuses on leading and following so that couples learn to listen to each other while dancing. His Co-teacher (and wife) Amanda Stanger-Read has been dancing with Scott since 1994. Together they have helped many couples dance the night away on that most important night of their live PRICE LIST SINGLE LESSON = $75/hr. THREE LESSONS* = $200/hr. *minimum recommended for wedding couples	SPECIAL WEDDING PACKAGES: PACKAGE A Three lessons for the wedding couple and one lesson with the parents of the bride and groom = $250 PACKAGE B Five lessons for the wedding couple and one lesson with the entire wedding party = $375 PACKAGE C Seven lessons for the wedding couple and three lessons with the wedding party = $600 With all of the above packages you will learn a ballroom dance that fits your wedding music. We can help you find just the right song or you can provide your own. We will craft a dance specifically for you. For packages that include more than three lessons you will also learn at least one other style of dance that will make you shine on the dance floor all night long.
